Dallas based IT Professional training company, TekFocus announced today the addition of retired Army Colonel Morris Wood as its Government Account Liaison. Col Wood will be responsible for maintaining current relationships with TekFocus’ federal contracts as well as developing new programs for the branches of the federal government such as the DOD and Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Wood is an experienced military and business leader with expertise in strategic and long-range planning, organizational change, resource allocation, program management and executive-level decision making. He has reengineered large military organizations and other businesses and functioned as the Chief Operations Officer in the commercial business environment. He has a Master’s degree in Accounting and is a retired Army Colonel. His organizational, resource allocation and management skills have been applied in both government and commercial settings. He has successfully managed the establishment of an executive-level performance measurement system in a large military organization. He attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government as a National Security Fellow and co-published research on the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) of the Department of Defense.
